We 'opened' our kitchen immediately after PE lesson. The children were so excited. Some of the children had the opportunity to help in preparing the ingredients. They measured the whipping cream, sugar and vanilla essence.
Once these were done, we poured the ingredients in a small ziplock bag. Then next, we made the 'freezer'. We measured and poured some salts in the ice. The tablespoons of salts help to reduce the temperature of the ice cubes so that they will not melt so quickly.
Once this was done. We put the bag of cream into the bag of ice and shook it!
Shake! Shake! Shake!

While waiting for the cream to freeze, we made our second, third and fourth bag of ice cream.
The classroom was wet and Helpful Caden immediately sprang into action. He took the initiative to mop the floor. He's caught doing good! =) Our first pack of ice cream was soon ready after about 25 mins. The pictures below were taken by Ee Teng (I think so). I was busy and I asked her to use my phone to take some pictures of her friends eating ice cream. =)

Each child is given a spoon of ice cream to try. Seriously, the ice cream tasted heavenly.. very creamy....
