We are growing kangkong plants in class now. However, we are doing it the hydroponics way.
Hydroponics(From the Greek hydro, water, and ponos, energy) is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil. Terrestrial plants may be grown with their roots in the mineral nutrient solution only or in an inert medium, such as perlite, gravel, mineral wool, or coconut husk. (Definition taken by Wikipedia).
We started growing on Tuesday and we can see the shoots today. We are very excited and hopefully we can harvest the vegetables at the end of the month.
